Job Description
Our HUD-Certified Housing Counselors are dedicated & trained in specialized housing counseling services while working as members of a very compassionate team. As an experienced, HUD-Certified Housing Counselor you will provide advice, education, and support to consumers in need, via telephone and email. This position assists individuals and families seeking to become homeowners through pre-purchase housing counseling and other packaging programs. This position also works with people who are delinquent in their mortgage payments to help them determine the best methods to catch up by developing and negotiating individual workout plans with the lender that will assist and meet the circumstances and needs of the client.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28 - $35 per hour, depending on duties and experience.

Strong work ethic; exceptional attention to detail and ability to work alone with little or no supervision;
Ability to work well in a team environment; eagerness to learn new skills;
Able to multitask and prioritize workloads;
Excellent attendance record; flexibility for scheduling and daily responsibilities;
Ability to read, analyze and interpret personal financial information and company correspondence;
Ability to write and keep track of client information in accordance with prescribed style and format;
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with management staff, coworkers, and the general public.
