What do you do at AFS and how long have you been here?
I have been a Financial Counselor at AFS for just over 1 year.

What do you like most about your job?
I truly love working with a client when there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel and together, we have the ability to turn the entire situation around. Then, when we work on the solution, you can hear and feel the relief in their voice.

The best financial advice I ever received:
From a very young age my Mom and Dad instilled in me that, “You have to work and save your money until one day your money can work for you.” Although I may not be there just yet, I work and encourage our clients to get one step closer every day.

One piece of advice you’d like to give people:
Life is a journey, financially, spiritually and physically. No matter where you are, good or bad, just enjoy the journey. The great times would never feel as great if you didn’t have the bad times that went along with them.

When I am not at work I like to:
I value the time I spend with my family and friends. Just to sit down and enjoy dinner together or to go on an adventure. The value is in the people you spend your time with.

A quirky fact about me is:
I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE spicy food!
