About American Financial Solutions

American Financial Solutions (AFS), is one of the largest non-profit Credit Counseling Agencies in the nation. We offer confidential professional budget counseling, financial education and debt management assistance nationwide.

We have 60 credit counselors who receive extensive training and must become certified through the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education (AFCPE) during their first year of employment. They must maintain their accreditation by completing 15 hours of continuing education every 2 years. We also require counselors to stay abreast of current industry events and provide them in house training.
